LEARN TO RIDE

If you’re ready to experience the unique thrill of riding your own motorcycle for the first time, or wanting to build on your riding experience, look no further than Roughrider Harley Davidson®. Course registration offered through North Dakota Motorcycle Safety Program.

Basic Rider Course

This course is designed for beginners or returning riders who need to refresh their skills. We will provide a motorcycle for the class. With practice, the skills learned will help you feel more confident riding your own motorcycle.

What to expect:

  • About 4 Hours in the Classroom
  • About 8 Hours on the Range
  • Written and Riding Exams
  • $100 Registration Fee (nonrefundable)

Experienced Rider Course

This course is designed for experienced, licensed riders. It provides strategies to heighten awareness and skill levels. Even if you have been riding for some time, you'll learn something new. Using your own motorcycle, you will be challenged to improve your techniques of managing traction, stopping quickly, cornering and more!

What can you expect?

  • 4 Hours of Riding
  • $50 Registration Fee (nonrefundable)
  • Your Motorcycle Must Pass Tires, Controls, Lights, Oil, Chassis and Sidestand (T-CLOCS) Inspection Prior to Class
  • Motorcycle License and Proof of Insurance Required
